Art. Ecology. Regenerative Resistance.
Art. Ecology. Regenerative Resistance.
A Living Practice at the Intersection of Art & Ecology
Earth Rise Collective is a women-led art and build collective.
We create site-responsive earthworks and sanctuaries from natural, regenerative materials.
Through participatory bioconstruction, storytelling, and skill-sharing, we transform spaces of extraction into places of collective power, bridging art, ecology, and frontline activism.
Our Process is Our Practice
-
// Imagine
We begin with a dialogue. We listen to the land and to the community. This is where our collaborative art emerges, from a shared vision of repair.
-
// Make
This is where vision becomes form. Through participatory building with clay, straw, and salvage, we build together. Our workshops are rituals of skill-sharing and collective action.
-
// Hold
The structures we create are living entities. They are designed to evolve and be maintained by the community. They hold space for gathering, healing, and continued resistance.
“...when you build a thing you cannot merely build that thing in isolation, but must also repair the world around it, and within it, so that the larger world at that one place becomes more coherent, and more whole; and the thing which you make takes its place in the web of nature, as you make it.”
